The Van Life community is always on the move, and a cornerstone of the community are events that bring us all together. In this guide we will talk about some of the expos, festivals, and meetups that help keep our community strong.
EXPOS
ADVENTURE VAN EXPO
Where the outdoor community comes to hangout! Come to the Adventure Van Expo shows throughout the summer and check out a weekend full of unique builds, custom designs, open house vans, vans to buy, public-built rigs and a whole lot more. Hang out with the outdoor community and connect with experts about their products all in one location.
OVERLAND EXPO
Overland Expo® is the world’s premier event series for do-it-yourself adventure travel enthusiasts, with hundreds of session-hours of classes for 4-wheel-drive enthusiasts and adventure motorcyclists, inspirational programs, speakers & trainers from all over the world, the Overland Film Festival, roundtable discussions, demonstrations, food, and a large expo featuring several hundred vendors of adventure travel equipment, camping gear, bikes, vehicles, and services.
FESTIVALS
OPEN ROADS VANLIFE FESTIVAL
Van life is about freedom, forging your own path, and making fun a non-negotiable. If you’re an aspiring or current van lifer who loves the outdoors, this event is for you. Open Roads Fest is an all-ages camper van festival packed with outdoor activities, workshops, and social events for van lifers, tent campers, and the road-trippin’ community.
RENDEZVAN
RendezVan is the celebration of our amazing community of RVers, campers, and van-lifers who make the annual pilgrimage to Mt. Bachelor in the springtime to enjoy soft spring laps and sunshine. Families, skiers, riders, and all travelers are welcome — even the dogs are invited!
Not interested in camping out? All are welcome to join for the day to partake in any of the events. The festival center, including all the music, vendors, activities, and fun competitions are open and free to anyone who would like to join in on the festivities.
While the festival basecamp is packed with activities and fun — the mountain has just as much action going on! Not only will the mountain be open for skiing and riding, but RendezVan will offer various on-mountain events throughout the five days.
