Job Title:  Final Finish Van Tech

Reports to:  Production Manager

FLSA Status:  Non-Exempt

General Position Summary

This position is responsible for the completion of vans, by looking over invoice and confirming all product from invoice are on the van and properly installed.

 

Essential Functions & Major Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by lead supervisor.
  • Complete task in a timely fashion.
  • Replacing parts that have been removed from vans.
  • Placing overhead cabinets and galleys in assigned location.
  • Working with different kinds of materials “fabric, foam, plumbing parts and electrical components”
  • Final connects of plumbing and electrical.
  • Make sure all tolerances are met or exceeded “No Gaps”.
  • Communicate with team and team lead about problems or damage.
  • A keen eye for details.
  • Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Education & Experience)

  • Communicate with team members to deliver a high-quality product and customer satisfaction.
  • Must be good with your hands and detailed-oriented.
  • Good written, reading, and oral communication skills.
  • Understanding of 120v and 12v electrical systems.
  • Understanding of plumbing supply and drain systems.
  • Understanding of appliances such as water heaters, furnaces, microwaves, air conditioners, and other devices.
  • Ability to work in both a team environment and independently
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Problem solving, systems and method improvements skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Actively show initiative and adapt to rapid change

  • Prolonged sitting or standing for long periods of time.
