Hygge, a 2024 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 170, was custom-built for a couple with a passion for outdoor adventure. Their van will be their go-to base for hiking trips and nature-filled excursions. Fittingly named “Hygge,” it offers a warm and cozy haven after long days spent exploring.

The van’s altitude bed provides a spacious sleeping area, and with the push of a button, it transforms to reveal the dinette seating below. The dinette benches can also convert into an additional sleeping space when needed. Hygge’s kitchen galley is well-equipped with an induction stove, stainless-steel refrigerator, storage drawers, overhead microwave, and a large stainless-steel sink. Multiple mounting points for the Lagun table allow the van to adapt to any setup. For added comfort, the van features a fully-enclosed aluminum shower, along with a dedicated storage spot for a dry flush toilet, located just opposite the sliding door. The Rolef bug screen in the slider allows fresh air in while keeping bugs out. Hygge is also equipped with a 30-gallon freshwater tank that supplies water to both the galley sink and the interior and exterior showers.

For extended off-grid adventures, Hygge is powered by 640Ah lithium-ion batteries, working in tandem with a 2000W Magnum inverter and a 280XP Wakespeed secondary alternator. For rugged terrain, Hygge is outfitted with an Agile “No Rub” Front Tire Fender, Agile Ride Improvement Package, BFG K02 oversized dually tires, and upgraded Method Race 901 dually wheels, with a spare tire safely stored underneath for peace of mind.
