Rough and Tumble was built in 2020 for an adventurous couple looking to hit the road with their boats and gear with a comfortable place to relax at night. Our team designed a bed panel system that allows one panel to act as a backrest for a couch, can drop down to create an extra sleeping area, or can be removed completely for more space. There’s discrete porta-potti storage by the slider, as well. The galley kitchen includes all the components needed to cook up a meal. On the roof, there’s a custom safari rack with cross bars, a front 50″ light bar, and 260 watts of solar panels. Dual AGM batteries and a secondary alternator that charges the van while the engine is idle or in motion provide ample power for the rooftop A/C, microwave, and induction stove.
