Trail Magic – Term of endearment for lending support, kindness, and generosity to long-distance hikers
Traversing the roads in 2022, Trail Magic was built for an active couple who would rather be unplugged and hiking than tethered to desks and wi-fi signals. This active family plans to continue section hiking the Pacific Crest Trail with their vehicle to support themselves and others. They’re excited that van life extends their hiking season slightly longer in the fall and opens it up earlier in the spring.
Whipping meals and snacks in the galley is easy thanks to a deep rectangular sink with a countertop mounted faucet and pull-down sprayer, Flush Mount Induction stove, 144L refrigerator, and overhead microwave.
Trail Magic stays off-grid for an extended time with the help of lithium batteries totaling 600Ah, a 2000W magnum inverter, and a secondary alternator. Rooftop solar panels provide an additional 130W of juice! A 10-speed reversible Maxxair roof vent and 12V aftermarket roof-top air conditioning unit keep interior cabin temperatures just right.
