Traversing from the Pacific Northwest to Alaska and back down to Glacier National Park, Gondola is the perfect 2022 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 170 Dually for extended off-grid adventures for a family of two.
We love the bright pop of color from the custom Sunbrella Spectrum Cayenne and Stanton Greystone cushions! The strategic accents of orange are also featured on the interior cabinet laminates and powder coating on multiple vents. Gondola’s passenger side bench seat perfectly conceals a pullout drawer holding a Dometic 972 porta-potty. Quickly fill hungry stomachs are the 42″ galley complete with an upgrader PaperStone countertop, Vitrifigo DW180 RFX Stainless Steel Double Drawer refrigerator, Ruvati Brushed Stainless Steel Undermount Sink and MOEN 90-Degree Single-Handle Bar Faucet. Need oatmeal or popcorn faster? Pop it in the overhead microwave! A 23-gallon freshwater tank feeds to the sink and rear exterior shower.
Without a Gondolier, this build is powered by 630Ah lithium-ion batteries, including a 2000W magnum inverter and 280XP secondary alternator. This ensures our 78″ Altitude Bed smoothly raises for lots of gear storage and quickly comes down when it’s time to sleep on the custom mattress with a memory foam topper. Keep additional electronics fully charged thanks to the (4) 110V outlets and (5) USB/USB-C ports. Cabin air quickly heats up from the Webasto Air Top EVO 55 Diesel Heating System, while the cabin and rear water are warmed with the Espar Hydronic Diesel Water Heating System.
Built to haul more than just people, Gondola is outfitted with our new garage cargo molle panels and rear door molle panels, in addition to our classic stuff sacks. In addition, we’ve attached Owl Vans Sherpa Cargo Carrier and their large Expedition Box on the exterior. Finally, a few steps up the rear or side utility ladder will allow you to store additional items in the Packasport System 60.
